Hi Everybody, I have a 91 Chevy c1500 silverado, 2 wheel drive. I believe it has a v8 5.7 ltr motor. I've been trying to install a power steering pump. The bracket the original pump has will not fit the new pump that I have. The bolts will not line up correctly. I also bought a pump from Auto Zone and it doesn't line up either. Does anyone know if Chevy had a different bracket for the pump ? I was told that the engine would have a Vin number somewhere on it , but cannot find . A friend also mention that the motor could have been replaced at one time. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Mike
