    Still looks and runs great after putting 166000 miles on it. It was time to step it up after skipping a generation of trucks. GM Trucks sure have come a long way since 1997.

    The Silverado LTZ interior is nothing truck like - great for long trips or sitting in LA traffic. The Bose sound system sounds pretty decent. The passenger is a little frightened because we're parked just above a steep cliff.

    Though, I don't know how nice the water is. This is the Salton Sea in California. An inland saline lake 220 feet below sea level. It's kind of a drainage sink for agricultural creeks and rivers. Purrty truck though.
