    My combined weight (fully loaded and ready to camp, plus family on board) is a right at 13k lbs (scale weighed on an actual trip @ 12,880 lbs). I was surprised to see similar numbers on what appears to be a much smaller camper. Our camper is full aluminum framed, but it's not really an "ultralight", as it has conventional Al studs/joists, 5/8 plywood floors, 3/8 ply roof, etc.

    What in the world are you hauling in there to weigh that much? Our camper is 32 ft bumper to tongue, and with the whole family (of 5) and our stuff loaded we're at about the same weight.
