I have a lifetime warranty on my Truck, I am tired of the electric noise , “super quiet”. I want to throw some cat back exhaust on, resonator delete or a new flow master 40, something , with a 6inch tip, Welllll the dealer told me to call there warranty people and the warranty people said any modifications to that part of the vehicle WILL void the Lifetime Warranty, I already had a new tranny rebuilt and new driveline:differential seal installed also wheel bearings ALL UNDER LIFETIME WARRANTY, So it has been a huge help, So can I or can I not do a simple exhaust without voiding my lifetime warranty ??

I am looking for advice on the best short tube headers and CAT back exhaust system that will bolt on. I am not looking for annoyingly loud, but something that will help pull my boat down the road, while still maintaining the luxury feel of the Denali. I do plan to do a tune once the upgrades are done. I have the K&N CAI for her already, but I am have seen so many options, I'm just looking for someone who had a similar engine and if they like the mods and would spend the money again! Thanks for your help!!!

I am fairly new to the exhaust world, and need some guidance. I have a 2015 Silverado k1500 that I want to put an exhaust system on to make it sound more aggressive, but I don't want anything clapped out or anything that will get annoying if I'm driving for a long period of time. This truck has the AFM system in it, and a buddy of mine told me you can hear it switch over in some systems (dont want that). Can anyone recommend a system that would suit me? I'd also prefer not to break the bank if possible.

Hey guys I'm new to the forum but I've been having some exhaust issues, and I'm hoping someone can help. I just recently swapped my muffler for the borla XR-1 (40085) muffler and deleted my resonator. I left the valve after the OEM muffler and then dumped the exhaust after the rear axle, no tip, just pipe. Ive been having an issue with a whistle or "whoosh" sound whenever I accelerate or whenever I have a warm start. I've gone to a shop to have them check the welds for leaks/gaps and there doesn't appear to be any issues and I still have the sound. Has anyone else had this issue with this model #? Could it be a defective muffler? Also, would adding an exhaust tip to the dump after my axle fix this issue? I'm open to all options at this point since it's not a leak like I was thinking. Thanks,
