I have a 2011 Sierra SLT 1500 Extended Cab, I have rear parking sensors and back up camera which displays in my rear view mirror. I was in an accident and a lot of my front end is being replaced, (bumper, grill, etc). Since I already have rear parking sensors I was curious to know how difficult and expensive it would be, if it’s even practical, to install parking sensors on the front as well. Any input would be great! Thanks!

I'm looking to buy a painted oem front bumper that doesn't have parking sensors. I have a 2014 GMC Sierra SLT with the chrome front bumper with parking sensors. I was wondering if anyone has drilled an OEM bumper and put in OEM parking sensors? I'm thinking this will be straight forward and shouldn't pose any problems?

This weekend I drove about 300 miles to trade in my 2011 Silverado (LML) for a 2015 Silverado 2500 LTZ Duramax that I thought I had found a great deal on. Against my better judgement, I decided that it was once again ok to purchase a vehicle that was "new and improved" for that year. I had nothing but trouble with my 2011 with transmission issues and DEF/DPF problems CONSTANTLY. Anyway, I got to the dealership in OK and got all the paperwork behind me. As I was driving home I noticed that the Drivers assist would sometimes beep and other times vibrate. I thought that was strange because I had the setting on vibrate, as the beep gets annoying after a bit. Long story short, the intermittent vibrate/beep is getting worse and the vibrate hardly works at all now. The light that says "Service Driver Assist" comes on repeatedly (5 times on my drive home), especially if i get close to the road lines. So, now I feel like I am screwed because the dealer says I need to bring it to them because it is just out of the 36k mile warranty but they are 300 miles from me!!! My last Silverado almost "drove" me into the arms of a Ford or Dodge and I am afraid that this one is definitely off on the wrong foot. That's saying a lot from a guy that has driven only GM and is a 3rd generation GM believer. Does anyone have advice or has anyone seen this problem on their Silverado or Sierra? Any advice is greatly appreciated! -Todd
