  1. New / Reman alternator/generator and voltage regulator for the 67 Burb. Drove over 20 miles last night at around 11 volts. Happened again thus morning on the way to work, so new lifetime warranty parts to make the pixies. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  2. Nice! I've got a 72 Camino also. Same here. Don't really care what my vehicles look like. So far I've only painted one car in my life & it was a driveway DIY. So not the greatest. First "mod" on the burb is going to be a seat out of something. The original bench us so worn out I had to stuff pillows under the cover to drive it home so I didn't have to lean on the door for 4.5 hours. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  3. One example. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  4. I also thought people were painting chrome up until a decade or so ago. My '69 GMC 396/402 had nothing but chrome for a grill. I mean love bugs punched through easier than aluminum foil. All of the steel had rusted out from under the chrome. So I'm not sure whether I want to replace this one with chrome or plain stamped steel. Current grill has some rust and some bondo patch areas. 5. This one was a base model, so no chrome other than door handles. Plain stamped steel grill. She needs some work, but I was able to drive it from the middle of Mississippi to the FL panhandle trouble free. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  6. Picked up a 1967 GMC Suburban / Carryall 4x4 with a granny gear 4 speed. Come to find out they only made 166 4x4 1/2 ton burbs that year. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  7. Don't know about the KO2 s, but the old AT KO s I've run on several 2wd over the years and got around 80k on each set. One truck was a big block '69 & the last set was on a Cherokee.
  8. Also, when I come home late, I like to NOT wake the woman up. [emoji16]
  9. I don't think it needs any explanation as to why I would want free flowing intake and exhaust = benefits all the way around. The keeping it quiet? Chris nailed that one - I don't want to hear loud exhaust all of the time. This is my dd and I put a lot of miles on it. When you've been around loud shit your entire life and already have tinnitus, loud ain't fun all of the time.
  10. Yup. Decided to be sarcastic for a while since Tapatalk likes to default to that. Does it really matter where I sent this from?
  11. Sounds good. After my current repairs and mods I'll be looking into intake and exhaust. Just not sure what route I'll go yet. As free flowing as possible with minimal noise. Does it really matter where I sent this from?
  12. Ordered the majority of needed parts to repair the failed AFM/DOD lifter and delete said AFM/DOD. Blackbear efiLive v2, AFM delete kit, cam, timing chain, ls2 chain damper, etc. A little over $2,200. Still a few more parts to aquire : water pump, oil pump, etc.
  13. Yep. I've never let insurance dictate how or who gets to repair my vehicles.
  14. Reported for child-vehicle neglect & abandonment. /s
  15. That's one of the ones I'm looking at. Definitely not cheap, but one of the ones to use for a Blackbear tune.
