While changing the battery in 2016 Tahoe, my wrench slipped and shorted the battery negative terminal to the 175 amp terminal on the battery block. I tested continuity with 12 volt light probe and there is continuity on all terminals EXCEPT the one I shorted out. Is there a way to fix this or do I need to buy a new battery block? The dash warning says power steering needs service, and it's true, there is no power steering. If I replace the battery block and reconnect it, is there anything else that could have been damaged by the shorted circuit?
Also, there is no fuse listed in the owner's manual for power steering or EPS. I checked all the 60 amp fuses and they are fine.
Thanks!
