  1. Taking care of a new truck

LOL - When I read that, I almost snorted coffee out my nose!
  2. Greetings from Barrie, Ontario

Thanks - She passed away last year at age 13. Bone cancer. She had a good long life.
  3. Mud Flaps for Sierra

Just had a supplier speak with Weathertech today. Apparently, the molded no-drill flaps are out for the 2500HD and 3500HD, but not for the 1500 yet. I'm supposed to be getting a call as soon as they're available. I'll post here when I get the call.
  4. Mud Flaps for Sierra

On one of my earlier vehicles I had to drill to attach mud-flaps, but then used silicone to seal the area around the screws and holes. Had that vehicle for five years afterward and kept an eye out for rust and never found a spot.
  5. Thanks, folks! The swipe move worked.
  6. I didn't notice any themes on my GMC Sierra SLE. That said, now that you've mentioned they *could* be there, I'll go digging for them!
  7. I just brought home a new 2014 Sierra yesterday and last night I was out in the truck setting up all the gadgets and I ran across a problem for which I couldn't find a solution in the manual. In setting up the favourite radio stations, I've found that while in the settings I could set it to display as many as I wanted using multiple "pages", I couldn't actually set or access more than the five on the first "page". The little dot indicators above the favourite buttons show that more pages were available but I can't for the life of me figure out how to access them. The manual says there are buttons to flip left and right through the favourites pages, but said buttons don't exist on the screen or off it. Am I the only neophyte who's run across this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciate in advance!
  8. Greetings, all. Just drove home yesterday in a new 2014 Sierra 1500 Crew Cab. A stunning truck, this! Looking forward to driving it for many years. Also looking forward to browsing through this forum and learning as much as possible from all my fellow GMC truck owners. Safe driving!
