  1. There is a company called linkswell that is coming out with a 12.1" screen for 2019-2022s that looks like an upgrade but not as gaudy as the 15+" screens. Ive only seen it advertised on one youtube feed and its not on the market yet. These look to be a total radio replacement not just an upgraded facade beamed through Bluetooth like most of the others. Downside is cost. Main unit is around $900 Bose replacement amp/DSP is another $400. https://youtu.be/ElwzrpkIVHw?si=p97fhwDjomxs8-TC In the meantime, i just noticed that a handfull of companies on Amazon are selling 12.1" radios that have the exact same bezel. I doubt they are the same unit as linkswell but i bet they are all the same as each other. They run around $700. https://a.co/d/00S7rCJv https://a.co/d/0dQjqC1d https://a.co/d/08nJvJQl I am curious how these would be. They appear to be Bluetooth facade replacements but they keep a lot of the features lost by the linkswell. Anyway just wanted to pass along and see if anyone has any experience with any of them. Cheers
  2. So i contacted both the distributor and manufacturer. It still doesnt totally make sense. Apparently this is just "screen replacement" that uses factory radio. But...it has power outputs and a toslink out. And an EQ. So that makes no sense for a factory radio. I get the sense that there is more to it than either party cares to explain. The Linkswell looks far superior to anything else on the market. But, its a lot more expensive and requires a $400 adapter if you have a Bose system. None of them retain XM, but all allow you to use the XM app via wireless.
  3. I used black vynil. Been on for 5 years now and looks great. Super cheap
  4. Lots of adds on facebook for this from a company called Carmaspeed
  5. Has anyone seen or tried this unit? https://idoing2006.com/products/idoing-12-95inch-android-radio-head-unit-for-chery-chevrolet-silverado-gmc-sierra-2019-2023?variant=42333333487714 I like it more than the 14" displays. I'm also very interested in the Stinger Horizon 12 kit, but it says its not Bose compatible. https://www.ceoutlook.com/2025/11/04/stinger-shows-horizon12-for-late-model-gm-trucks/ Im most worried about camera integration on my LTZ. I have the max trailer package so my 360 view is really 270 deg. The front is missing For trailer through-view add on option. But also have the low speed front tire view which is very awesome. And secondary tailgate cam for trailer ball downward view. Not sure if these will all work on any unit.
  6. https://www.stingerdealer.com/SRX-GM19128?fragment=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stingerdealer.com%2FSRX-GM19128#https://www.stingerdealer.com/SRX-GM19128 Looks pretty cool. Im not sure i completely understand what these stingers are. Do they fully replace the factory radio, or do you keep it hidden behind like the tesla screen? Do they have built in power or need separate amps? Unfortunately it says its only for the base radios. I have a Bose so unless there is a workaround I'm out of luck.
  7. Holy crap. I sure hope they make a kit for the 10" kenwood for the 2019+ silverados. That would be amazing.
  8. Answer found! RC M1 struts are adjustable! They don't advertise it for thr 3.5s but I contacted them and they drop down in 0.5" increments. And they are on sale on amazon now for $340. Great price on the M1s.
  9. Just FYI, amazon has the rough country M1 3.5" struts right now for $340. Killer price. Those can be adjusted down to 3.0 or 2.5 i found out when i contacted RC. This would let u do 2.5 now and later jack it up to 3.5. The wierd thing is that everyone keeps talking about differential spacers for the T1 trucks. But there is literally not a single kit, BDS, Fox, Eibach, or other that includes them for 4" and under. I cant even find a legit youtube on installation for them. Plenty on the K2s. But not the 2019+ T1s.
  10. Hello all. I just added the RC 3.5" kit and 275/65r20s (34"). The gap in the front looks like too much for these tires. And honestly, I am kind afraid of the CV joint angles when I tow as it raises it even further, to absurd levels. I previously had a 2" spacer, and it wasn't enough. This seems like too much. I swear this raised it way more than 1.5" from what I had with the top spacer. I wish I had measured. I wish I could split the difference from what I had to what I have now. Id like suggestions to help find a solution. I know this can cause wear and Im prepared to deal with that if it happens. Questions: 1. If I leave the current upgraded control arms and the sway bar drop kit, can I reduce the height to something lower? 2. What would be the best "affordable" option to get 2.5 - 3" of lift. a. 3" coilover kit by Freedom Offroad, but Im not sure if its any good. b. there are some badass adjustable Fox coilovers but they are $850 each. c. Eibach makes a kit that says its .9-3.6" but then the vendors all say that its only 2.2" and Eibach confirmed that on 4wd models like mine d. 2.5"-3" spacer on stock shocks e. 2" coilover from RC or other with a .5 or 1" spacer f. Bilstein's 5100s at max setting and make up the rest with a spacer. Thank you!
  11. I have a Rough Country 3.5" with 34s (275/65r20) and they fit fine. Narrow-ish 35s would fit fine on stock wheels with this. The offset comes in when the tire is too fat - it will rub on the new control arm. When I had 2" lift and stock control arms I could run 305/55r20 on stock wheels and it would not rub.
  12. I just installed the new Nitto Terra Grappler G3s. I love them. Very smooth. Very quiet. And just aggressive enough looking. They come in larger sizes in p ratings too. I installed 34s (p275/65r20) and didnt really take a hit in MPG since they only 47lbs compared to my old 33" BFGs that were 56 lbs.
  13. Im actually looking for a way to go down to 3" from 3.5". I have 34s and its still a bit too much gap for my taste. It rides great tho. Rough country says this will only fit 33s but this lift would easily accommodate 35s. I cant find a loaded 3" strut anywhere. I think superflift or readylift makes them but their sites are not good. Maybe a billstein plus a spacer? I hate the stock ranchos.
  14. Did your kit come with the sway bar drop? Its not shown in the kit when you look it up online. I noticed it in the installation insturctions and called them. They said the new kits are coming with it - to help with allignment issues. Anyway you can order the sway bar drop kit for about $40 from them.
  15. 275/65 is a 35" tire. 285/60 is 33.5. Roughly. I had a 2" spacer in front and fit 305/55r20 on the front with now rub. Those are 33.25 but a lot wider. I think the 285s would work okay. With 2" I think 275/65 would work but it might look kinda stuffed. FWIW, 275/65 is a much more common size and a lot cheaper. Im currently running the new Terra Grappler G3 in 275/65r20 with a 3.5 lift.
  16. Im gonna put 34s on this weekend. I bought this size tire and lift because they are exactly what RC had on their demo. The tires look proportional and badass on their model. This doesnt look right. Do springs settle?
  17. So I measured and it is 41.5 at the front end and 41.0 at the back end. That makes no sense as their demo model had considerable rake to it. Does anyone here have measurements of theirs to compare? I have 295/55r20 Mickey Thompsons which according to their site measure 33.1". One thing I noticed is that there are two sets of instructions. The base instructions are for if you just use the 3.5" spacer on factory strut. I used their N3 loaded strut. The loaded strut instructions say to remove the knuckle before installation. But the basic instructions do not call for that. I did not do that, as I had plenty of room to get the strut in. I cant see how that could effect the final product though. The part number on these struts is 023 097 649066. If anyone has the 3.5 N3 loaded strut I would love to compare. Thanks!
  18. Installed the RC 3.5 front end kit this weekend and removed 2" motofab spacer. I used their pre-loaded N3 struts, upper control arms and sway bar drop kit. I already had bilstein 5100s on the back with a 1.5 block but I swapped the block with a 2" trailboss block. I did this because the photos on rough country website looked like it still had considerable rake to it. I wanted a little, but not that much. But sometimes it looks level and sometimes it looks nose high. I was quite surprised at the difference 1.5 made on the front end. I read that lifts "settle" but usually just a fraction of an inch. I have the NHT package and airbags on the back, but right now they at minimum pressure. Does this look right to yall? I can think if what I could have done wrong. Maybe Im being too particular. Not sure. Tires are 295/55r20 with .25 spacers like their red demo truck has.
  19. Hey all, I have been perpetually underwhelmed by my Bose system so I decided to add a sub. Originally i had considered a the kicker sub, but its just too expensive to try and not be sure. I've had good luck with Rockville products in the last so I thought u would give it a try. I used the bose sub output to feed direct the high level inputs of an LC2i. This send signal to the amp and controls the auto turn on. Overall I'm pretty happy. It's like a whole new listening experience. It's enough to shake my rear view mirror but it's not gut splitting bass like a legit big boxed system. But sooooo much better than the bose turd. At normal volume levels it makes the music be a completely new experience. I have a separate real jack that I carry so I removed the under seat jack and used those bolts to clamp down a sheet of plywood I covered with automotive carpet. Mounted the sub to that. Secure and no new holes.
  20. thanks. Im trying to find a dfif drop kit. I see these ones that have two oddly shaped brackets, and then I see ones that have just 4 bolts with some spacers. Which one is correct? I actually wouldnt mind my lights slightly higher, though I think I can adjust that. I have the LEDs and they seem to point down too much on the highway.
  21. Hello. I have a 2019 max Trailering crew cab LTZ with a 6.2. Currently have a 2" spacer on the front with a 1.5" block on back with Billsteins and air bags. I tow a 7000# RV routinely using a LDH. It pulls and rides fine and no issues after 45K miles. Id like to do a RC 3.5" on the front and change my rear block to 2". Since I tow, and that will raise the front end wile loaded (regardless of the load distribution hitch), would it make sense to add a differential drop kit as well? Thanks!
  22. How are those coopers compared to stock ride? I assume they are E rated tires. How much MPG did you lose?
