    I don't see why the dealer would buy it back, especially when I would only want a refund and not another GM truck. They would then have to resell the truck to the next guy who would then be dealing with a lemon. GM probably wouldn't want to take it back unless they saw legal action taking place, hence the lemon law attorney. This is my 6th consecutive new GM truck. NEVER felt a vibration in any of them!!!

    As I've recently posted, my truck just came out of the shop for the 3rd time. I will be contacting a lemon law attorney very soon. I will also ask about a class action law suit if enough people here are interested. Does anyone know roughly how many people in this thread have vibration issues? My truck is so uncomfortable to drive, I just can't deal with it any longer. The truck has 2100 miles. I've had enough!!

    He did say it was a different design. I asked if the exhaust change had anything to do with the flapper that has been talked about but he said it did not. He just said the old design was causing a vibration. Obviously, the exhaust had nothing to do with the vibration.

    I picked my truck up today. The Servive Manager tells me what the engineer did. He used some device to read the vibration on his test drive. He replaced the following parts, 1) Exhaust System 2) Placed 2 clamps on the driveshaft 3) Replaced the coupler connecting the upper and lower steering shaft 4) checked the driveline angle(within specs) He tells me the engineer says there is a 50% improvement in the vibration. We go for a test drive. I accelerate up to the target speed zone (41-45). Absolutely no change, maybe a bit worse. While the truck is vibrating, I tell the SM to put his hand on the steering wheel and airbag. He says, "I feel the road coming through the tires." I say but it is a constant vibration and not just bumps. He would never admit to feeling the vibration. The truck would even start a low pitched hum when it was vibrating and he never heard it. GM can't deny that there is a problem because the engineer threw all kinds of parts at it. I guess I'll take it to the next level.

    So I dropped my truck off last night at the dealership. The service manager calls me and leaves a voicemail at 7:30 tonight and says the GM Engineer had been working on it all day and it is fixed. Im not very optimistic but I'll report back tomorrow.

    Why would you buy one of these after the potential problems you may have?? Mine went back in the shop today for the 3rd time. A GM Engineer is supposed to work on the truck. When he doesn't fix it, I am filing a lemon law claim. In Massachusetts, the dealer has 3 chances to fix it. When I file the claim, GM has 7 days after that to fix it. At this point, I hope they don't fix it. This truck has been a nightmare and I just want it gone.

    Mine is going back tomorrow for the third time in its first 5 weeks. The vibration is 41-50 with 41-45 being the worst. I towed by boat today and had a bad vibration at 65-75. The boat is 2000 lbs so the tongue weight is high. When they don't fix it this time, I will be going after the lemon law. I have had it with this truck. I hate this truck and it's too bad that GM put out garbage like this. I think I drove my last GM.

    Add me to the list. 2014 Silverado LTZ Doublecab 4x4, GoodYears. Took the highway on the way home from the dealership upon purchasing it and immediately had a bad vibration. Brought it back the next day. They kept it for 2 days. Replaced 1 "bad" tire. On the ride home, I noticed the vibration was much less but not fixed. Brought it back 2 days later. They had it a few more days. They said they replaced the axle. Did not fix it. The truck has an annoying vibration mainly in the 40-50 mph range. It does have vibration in other ranges but I can deal with that. This is my 6th consecutive new GM truck and most likely my last. This truck is the WORST driving truck I have ever owned!!!
