  1. I would not. I tapped into the the jumpers between the two stock horns and added the additional BadBoy Horn. Its definitely louder and changes the pitch but it is NOT double the noise level. For $30 it was worth the money and effort.
  2. Here are stock and modified horn sounds. Stock - http://vid90.photobucket.com/albums/k244/skippyg4/WP_20150320_001.mp4 Bad Boy - http://vid90.photobucket.com/albums/k244/skippyg4/WP_20150320_004.mp4
  3. Its quoted at 123db. Left the factory horns installed as well. I have a sound meter. I will test our other truck with just factory horns and this truck with the additional horn. See what i can do for a recording.
  4. Installed the Bad Boy 419 air horn today.
  5. Which flares are those? We bought EGR's. Bushwackers maybe? are they no drill?
  6. Just ordered the same NFab bars. would love to see a clean side view of the truck for better look at the bars. I guess its going to be a good couple of weeks before the bars arrive.
  7. Had Driver door re-tinted (peeled up) and had front glass tint strip installed.
  8. We paint matched the ones we put on my business partners truck that is also tungsten metallic. I will get you a pick if you wan to see.
  9. I have already wired our other '14 so I will test when i put the one on my daughters '05 colorado. (week or so)
  10. Could you just not wire in the the running light wire?
  11. also recently installed Plasmaglow Fire & Ice Light bar. Hard wired it by swapping out the 4 way plug for a 5 way and then modded both left and right tailight wire harness so bar can be easily replaced if it goes bad.
  12. factory paint matched egr fender flares.
  13. a couple of little items today. stubby antenna and aluminum hitch. someone finally gets to take the boat fishing again...
  14. Well that would be because the day i left the shop with the truck for the first time the right front caliper bolts were loose and the caliper went up into the rim. Luckily nothing seriously bad happened. It is not that this is an incompetent shop. they do almost all off road setups in our area. they just had the flunky who didn't pay attention work on my truck. My company actually owns 2 of these trucks with the exact same setup and the first one they did is perfect. No issues. So basically we have requested that the master fabricator be the one to look it over and he told us he was going to remove it all to make sure it is all correct. They have a feeling it is just the blocks in the back have the pins wrong but they want to be sure it is all 100%. I guess when you write a 10k check to a place they will put the right man on the job to fix the issues.

  16. Well, today was supposed to be a good day for my 14. Body shop finally fixed the scratch on my truck that i have had since the day i got the thing. They sent it over to service and had the two recalls worked out. DiabloSport tuners arrived and truck was to be tuned. However after picking it up from the shop my business partner followed me back to our shop and discovered my truck was dog tracking from the lift that was recently put on. The truck has had some shake in it since we got it back but we spoke with the shop and they assured it was just something wrong with the DynaBeads that were used to balance the tires and would look at it at the 500 mile re-torque but after today we have seen what the real problem is. needless to say i am without my truck again. The shop told us that they are basically going to remove the lift and reinstall it making sure everything is 100% starting to miss my truck after the amount of time it has been in the shop recently...
  17. Holds more than I expected. lose a little bit of bed due to having to leave space for the lid to open. no quick removal unfortunately. bolts right up to the low pro tonneau. overall happy that it can't be seen. I will post pictures of it installed.
