  1. Hey guys loving all the nice trucks haven't posted in a while so here's a pic
  2. I've done that with the old truck and hitting deer stinks also!
  3. Don't forget to check your trailer latches installed a good dent today.
  4. Backspace is the measurement from where the wheel mounts to the outer edge of the wheel on the mounting side should be around 5.79 inches on a 20x9 +20 offset
  5. If it spins put jack under the lower control arm put some pressure up and use a pry bar to keep pressure down on the ball joint it shouldnt spin once its tight enough but if you are putting in lower spacers like that video you should be able to put them in with just taking the sway bar loose leaving upper ball joint alone and prying up on the shock bottom to slide spacer in good luck! Edit: the allen key is just holding the ball joint from spinning also you would torque just the nut he is tightening with the adjustable when your done but it's not likely you will be able to get torque wrench in there so just tighten very tight when done
  6. I had a coworker install my 2.5 Rough Country kit today. I can not figure out if he installed the top spacer. I am measuring ~38.5 in the front and ~39.75 in the rear. I have also attached a picture of the threads of one of the top bolts. Does it look like the top spacer is on there? It's on there can't really see it but there would be threads showing on the studs like stated before!
  7. I've been trying to decide between lifts also, looking at the Zone 4.5. I talked to someone from zone offroad the other day and he told me all the parts are the same for the 4.5 and 6.5 except the upper strut spacers in the front and the rear lift block which he said they will sell me if I decided 4.5 wasn't enough just throwing that out there.
  8. Do you know your fender heights with your zone 4.5 lift? Thanks
  9. Hey coop did you wire that direct to dome lights so say if you are going down the road and turn the actual switch on would they come on?
  10. The body lift won't change the ride I have the 1.5 zone and 2.5rc. The 2.5 made a slight difference and the E rated larger tires makes it a little more rough
  11. Thanks I have the 2.5rc+1.5zone body lift the tires are cooper st maxx 295/70r18
  12. I'm running those on a 2.5 level and 1.5 body lift with stock z71 wheels and they rub sway bar and liner
  13. For sure! Just figured I'd try since they were sitting there lol I'm thinking a lift kit is next on my to do list after lifting some other trucks the last few weekends
  14. Hey guys tried a friend's 35/12.50r18 toyo mt on some +18 offset moto metal rims on my truck today they rub very bad I don't think trimming would help I have the 2.5rc level and 1.5 zone body lift the tires measure almost 35 inches and almost 13 wide on the rim sorry no pic on my truck but here's the tires I tried on his trailblazer after we lifted it today Figured I'd add a before pic from yesterday just to show the difference
  15. They are 0-1.8" sounds like most people get 2" with them but I tried to order some about 2 weeks ago and a few places told me they are back ordered until end of October if you find some let us know good luck!
  16. The instructions don't say but mine are tapered 1/4"
  17. Mine are 2in in rear and 1 3/4 in front idk if that 1/4in would make a huge difference but my are tapered for sure just measured
  18. Did you install the rear blocks and put them on backwards possibly(angle towards back of truck) I could see that giving you a bad angle for your u-joints
  19. 2.5 rc level and 1.5 zone bodylift
  20. 295/70r18 cooper st maxx on stock wheels
  21. Thanks, for all city/ back road driving my dash shows 15.5 I only drove it on one long highway trip since the tires and it was showing 17.5 but there was ton of construction stop and go my speedo is not corrected for the tires so I think it should be a little better then it shows
