  1. more side and down the bed view
  2. It def helps to have an extra set of hands for sure, the hardest nut for sure is the upper ball joint since u can only get a wrench on it and not a socket, a cheater bar helps. Also from personal experience i wouldn't take anything off all the way just loosen everything it tells u to and its a lot easier, and yes go get it aligned afterwards to make sure the tie rods and everything are correct and tight (mine was off on one side for whatever reason).
  3. i have some posted on page 134 and 135 of the side and down the bed. i run cooper stt/maxx
  4. 295-70-18 offset 0 , 2.25" level kit
  5. More pics, in pic 2 it shows a good idea where it rubs when u reverse and turn, it barely hits that button screw at the bottom but that can be fixed and as u can see theres more room than expected towards the front, i trimmed just to be safe
  6. Be careful with Fuel wheels, not saying all of them do this but theres been a bunch of ppl complaining about them cracking and not holding up off road and this was told to me by several tire guys that would know
  7. I've got my set i just took off for sale, its a very good set up if you're interested. only about 6 months old on both tires and wheels
  8. Tanner you're correct it sometimes depends on the tire and the how thick it is. The guy told me that if i went above anything more than +6 offset that my tires would rub the sway bar and i believe it. and yes at least 2" up front to clear 33's and the picture above hes running a 3" but i still dk how he doesnt rub unless the tread isnt very knobby. an 0 offset is the best way to go in my opinion
  9. Thanks, they aren't lying when they said these are 34.25" tires, up close they are very big and they wouldn't fit an older model without a 4" lift
  10. side view, will take more tmw
  11. yes the backside of the liner rubs but i cut that out with a razor blade and it doesn't rub now. and yes you will need an offset , it won't fit with stock rims ur front end will need to come up at least 2"
  12. 295-70-18 Cooper ST/Maxx , 18x9 TIS 535b offset 0
  13. Got them on today, they look great will post pics later. a very slight rub on the wheel well on the backside middle of the front tire, very minor trimming will fix it, theres no rub on the front fender side. tires stick out almost an inch outside fenders
  14. will do, i also have a 2.25 level kit, the current tires I run are 33.75 tall and the new set they will run 34.25 and I calculated about 1" of easy clearance left so they shouldn't rub
  15. I run cooper discoverer ATP with Xd's offset of +18 run run on 285-75-17.. this puts it just a hair outside of the fender but i say its dead even. putting on a new set monday going to a cooper st/maxx 295-70-18 TIS wheels with a 0 offset, it might rub a little not sure
  16. Yeah I've thought that 20's would weigh more and have a bigger impact on mpg but i was jw on yalls opinion
  17. Ok guys I have a question that yall might know. This may not be the best thread but is there a tire/ wheel calculator to tell you the total weight of each tire/ wheel. For instance what weighs more a 20" rim or a 17" with the same tire on it? Thanks ahead of time.
  18. I have a +12 xd offset
  19. I run a 285-75-17 and it doesnt rub and that was without a level kit with a +12 offset wheel so i would say that this size would be the biggest IMHO. you would be safe really safe with a 285/70
  20. the wheels are +12 offset and yes i have them in the for sale forum here. they stick out about 1/2 an inch from the fenders http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/170236-fs-17-xd-hoss-rims-with-cooper-atp/
  21. i run 285/75/17 and doesn't rub at all, i could probably even go to a 305/70/17 and be ok but i just got a 2.25 kit put on the front
  22. I'm very disappointed in the plastic skid plates on these trucks. driving on a ranch road i had something come up and knock a good crack/hole in my skid plate. anybody know where to find a decent metal skid plate it looks like they don't even make them yet
  23. I'm trying to sell my 17" xd hoss rims and cooper atp tires my offset is +12 and i want more offset so I'm going to a 0 offset , but can't do so until i can sell my current setup if anyone is interested
  24. To be honest man i don't even remember its been over a year since i had them swapped , the receipt says 17x6 and the bolt pattern is 6-139.7 . i should know but I'm not 100% I'm guessing its +6
  25. Oh ok, I'm running 285/75/17 cooper a/t tires and xd hoss rims but I'm not feeling the look anymore but i don't want to go to a larger tire because gas mileage will drop even more. I want a little more offset than the xd's i have
