An update with my paint issue. I called the dealership that I purchased the truck from explained to them what was going on, They informed me that since it would be covered under warrantee I could take it to the closest GM dealership, since I purchased my truck out of town. So I did exactly that. I took my truck to Mataga GM dealership. I spoke to the service manager. He looked over my truck and informed me that they do not have a in- house body shop and that they send it out. I expressed how I felt about anyone working on my Brand New Truck and asked if it would be possible to take it to my preferred body shop. The service manager said," No Problem your body shop has done work for us in the past. Have them write up an estimate and I will get it approved by GM." So I did exactly that. I took my truck to my body shop and they couldn't believe that the clear coat was bubbling up on a brand new truck. They informed me that there was a wrong way and a right way to correct this problem. In order to have the paint job that I thought I was buying would be to start over, strip and re-paint. That way I know for certain that the problem would be solved. So I took my $9,000 estimate and left it for the service manager. In the mean time I called the GM customer service line. I
