  1. I just installed the valentine hard wire module in my 2014 Silverado LTZ. Found that the vio/wht wire (4th from edge of connector) was only putting out 9.8 vdc. the vio/yel in the #3 position was a good hot @ 14.2 vdc., and used this one. the black is a good gnd. To get the friction locks under the 2nd panel out, use a 5/15" X 6" shank, flat blade screwdriver. Just push in the edge of the metal clip and twist against the plastic mount (right up at the roof). They come out easy and with no damage. Thanks to everyone on here for the info on getting into the ceiling panel. I was stumped till you showed me the way.
