  1. I had a 2019 tb and the radio worked most of the time, no audio at times, have now a rst 2024 n already had the radio replaced for no audio , mechanic said these radios are trash, have to agree
  2. 2024 RST 650 miles , no leaks unlike my 2019 Trail Boss where the oil cooler lines blew n lost all my oil at once
  3. Just to be clear yes my oil cooler lines did fail back in dec 23 as I stated before, drove the truck for several months cuz the motor did sound good, just for a peace of mine had the oil checked n the had the oil filter checked and yes there was metal bits in the filter, even though the oil pressure seems fine n the cooling system seems good no one knows just how long this motor will last so I ordered a new crate motor
  4. my oil cooler lines totally came apart while I was driving,I have a 2019 Trail Boss 5.3 with only 25k miles on it. My warranty ran out 3 months before this happened n will not cover anything. I did get the truck to my mechanic , just to make sure the motor was good I had him drain the oil cut the oil filter to see if any metal bits in it, there was, so now I have a motor that might last a while or not, so I decided not to take a chance and replace the motor. What pisses me off is GM knew about this problem and had recall or noting, any thoughts are welcomed
  5. this happened to me 12/20/23 the oil cooler line crimp failed, drove the truck maybe a mile or two before I got it to my mechanic, motor sounded funny , dealer said my warranty is expired , had the lines replaced $565 . GM should have had a recall on these oil lines . so the motor sounds ok ,oil pressure good , really don't know if there is any damage but I guess time will tell
