  1. I own a 2015 Yukon SLE with 20 inch wheel, when I first got I noticed a lot of pressure on my ears after it went a way within a couple of month and it been a pleasure to drive there is no pressure what so ever. Its been a solid vehicle riding extremely smooth I changed tires to Goodyear Wrangler from Continental even my wife said it was even smoother of a ride
  2. I have owned my 2015 Yukon since Sept there was some slight pressure in the beginning and the pressure went away after 1 mo, there trucks has no made buffeting or boom noises, its ultra smooth. Very happy with my purchase.
  3. Hi I have previously posted here my 2015 Yukon SLE dose not exhibit any buffetting or vibration noise. There is a light boom when i go over object at slow speeds such as reflectors in the road. I noticed when i drive at reg speed and on rough surfaces there are no noises at all very smooth and quiet. I think alot of people dont think twice about these noise especially with the radio on I have heard several people mention adding dynmat to the roof area to help deaden the sound maybe this something GM needs to look into. With my particular vehicle I noticed a couple of things 1) the molding was poorly done in the rear door areas on one side you see the molding sticking out that should be sealed around the window and the other side the molding is just loose. 2) the plastic trim near the windows on my vehicle are very flimsy and I have 2 that are loose I have noticed on other Tahoe and Yukon where the whole piece was off. In the previous generation vehicles the doors accept around the windows.
  4. I did a anti buffeting search this is not only common in GM but other make Porcshe Honda Tesla etc, I read an article where GM was installing antibuffeting kits on Chevy Volts under warranty maybe this is something they need to do with the Tahoe Yukon and Escalade
  5. Hey Zip, while driving I notice the previous generation and the generation before all had openings in the front bumper in addition even the Ford Expedition and Navigator's have opening in the bumper. GM may not have been aware when making these vehicle a small design cue could cause such an issue.
  6. I think I may have uncovered why the vehicles may be making these noises is it possible with the new front end of these vehicles the bumper doesnt allow air to circulate since the lower part of the bumper is blocked. The previous generation SUV had the lower part of the bumper that allowed air to follow thru. I notice all large suv and trucks have the grill and cut out in the bumper to allow air circulation.
  7. I find it hard to believe it has to do with the roof I could be wrong but think you would hear at all speeds
  8. Its the shortbase Yukon SLE with 20 inch wheels
  9. My Yukon is an SLE that has 20 inch upgraded wheel, we bought a month ago after trading our 2008 Yukon SLE with no issues. I find it hard to belive it has to do with the roof i think its the torque converter. I own and have 1991 Pontiac Trans Am and the transmission felt like vibration has i went to accelrate the dealer replace the torque converter never had an issue again.
  10. I dont believe it has anything to do with the roof or being a yukon xl or suburban if it was the roof issue you would hear it at all speeds when driving. My Yukon is an SLE with 20 inch wheel i traded my 2008 Yukon and had no issues whats so ever. I think its the torque converter and tranmission issues.
  11. I just purchase a 2015 Yukon so far no issues, however I wonder if the issue is wth the torque converter and transmission combo as I drove a friend vehicle and fleet like there was vibration coming what felt when my foot was on the gas pedal like the transmission was trying to shutter.
