  1. I can confirm that using 89 instead of 87 removed all hesitation, plateaus, and studders. I ran 89 for 2 tanks earlier this year to test, then switched back to 87 (same gas station for all). Difference is night and day. Most of my commute is city, and I could tell right away that there was substantially less power, specifically during shift changes. Do yourself a favor and start drinking 89. Your truck will thank you in the long run. I opted against 93 only because of price. An extra $15/tank isn't worth the hassle.

  5. I had a manual slider on my old truck. Didn't use it as often as I thought I would. I even specifically bought it with it, thinking I'd use it all the time. Dropping the rear windows is much more effective.
