I found out its to keep throttle from icing in cold climates.

My 06 Silverado shut off while idling, and the DIC says low engine power. Codes P0068,P0103. It is a 6.0 2003 motor.

Hey what is the coolant hose that is under butterfly assembly for? I just installed a helix power tower plus on my 07 5.3 . It's from Taylor Vertex Co. and noticed a slight increase in power. They say it will improve fuel economy .
