    In my opinion the flushing service bulletin is just a bandaid fix to get by till the warranty is out. Lots of guys lately I've noticed have had torque converter problems and gm won't admit it...just my opinion

    Glad you got yours fixed, how long was it in the shop to replace the converter? I'm gonna be upset if it's in the shop for a week while waiting for a new converter to get shipped out.

    I'm going through the same issue now, dealer performed a service bulletin to flush the system and it still does the shuddering in 8th gear. I've noticed lots of guys lately have had similar issues around 10-15k miles. Everyone who's had the torque converter replaced has fixed the issue so mines going back into the shop for that next.

    Well I picked it up this morning and the dealer said after the flush it should smooth out after 200 miles. The shaking is gone but I can see the tach still moving. I'll have 200 miles on it after this weekend so we'll see if it is a permanent fix or not. I still think the converter is the problem though. Dealer said if it doesn't completely repair it the will order a new converter.

    I posted last week I was getting a bad shake while up shifting and a horrible shake in 8th gear at highway speeds and I noticed the tach would jump about 50 rpm up and down during the shaking. My first thought was the torque converter or transmission was slipping. Dealer just called me and said it's fixed and there was a bulletin posted nov 29th to flush the tranny 3 times to fix the problem. Anyone hear of that bulletin? I can't find it online anywhere, I have a feeling it's just a bandaid fix. I see it going back into the shop for a new converter next week ?

    Not really sure, dealer installed it all. I get about 18 all around average and about 15.5-16 pulling my boat

    Opened hood to do first oil change and first thing I seen was cracked open walnut shells....then I seen this! I've declared war against all squirrels in my neighborhood.
