  1. Not that I really want to find out, but after I bought my truck I was discussing this very issue with the sales manager. I was curious how they would handle warranty issues after I leveled and installed bigger tires. His response was that since I bought it from them and have all my service work done with them that they would take care of me. I told him I wanted it in writing since he may not be there when I had an issue. He called the service manager on his day off and asked him how they handle these claims from their customers and his response was that gm doesn't need to know anything other than it has an issue. I never got it in writing and I'm not naive enough to think that it would hold up if pressed, but I had already bought the truck and was trying to get them to install the level. He said to save my money and do it myself since they will take care of it. We gamble every day when we leave our house and drive, to me, this is a calculated gamble and am willing to take the risk
  2. Totally agree and have decided to go ahead and do it knowing the consequences.
  3. My truck came with cat back exhaust and I am planning an MIT upgrade over stock intake. It sounds like headers aren't a necessity at this time and will probably go ahead and "risk" the tune with only 2300 miles on it. Thanks for the input gentlemen.
  4. Look at Black Bear's website, they can custom tune your truck. There are several guys running their tune and have seen awesome results. AFM delete is a biggie with most guys
  5. That's what I'm up against at my house also. I've never modified any vehicle besides tires and now I'm having to justify how to spend my money. Isn't marriage grand! That was my thought as well, just tune now and add in the future. I wasn't sure if there was any benefit to adding before doing the tuning. Thanks
  6. So I'm seriously considering having Santa bring me a BBP tune. My question for you guys that have tuned is, is it a waste of time to tune without putting on headers and a cai? My main goal in the tune is just to unlock the trucks potential, I don't need a top hp machine. Thanks
  7. I ordered 5100's for the rear also and they showed in stock. I received the fronts and received a call from the vendor stating that Bilstein was out and not expecting to resupply vendors until early to mid December
  8. This is with Bilstein 5100 at max height with 285/65r 18 on stock rims. Slight felt rub at full lock Driveway is sloped down, still has roughly an inch of rake.
  9. I'll see if I can get some uploaded after work today
  10. I had mine installed last Friday. Paid $138 for installation. Also had 285/65r 18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers put on. I had roughly 3" of rake and now right around an inch. I'm pretty happy with the outcome, rides like a truck should now.
  11. For those of you who have installed these at the max position, what tire on an 18 stock wheel are you running without cutting/trimming? Originally, I was looking at 295/65, but that was with a 2.25" level kit. Not sure those will still fit/look stuffed now that I'm looking more like less than a 2" level. These will be going on a 16 Sierra AT/X. I believe my stock wheel offset is +33. Thanks Jeremy
