Had add the same problem. It was the wiring harness. Also there's a panel under the bed that the wire harnesses plug into. I'm sure it's got a name. The connection was corroded and needed to be cleaned.
Thank you for that information. I do have an AGM battery. I have a voltmeter on the dash and it never reads more than 14.4. I didn't realize they only maintain a 70 to 80% charge. And it will sit for 3 days and then I'll make a short trip less than 5 mi , then it'll sit a couple more days.
Threw charger on my battery today. Batteries less than a year old. The charger said The battery was at 40%. What would be the cause of a low battery? Don't believe it's a drain. GMC Sierra 1500 2013.
No I'm going to keep the 35s. But I'm bumps and tight corners especially at the same time, My front and rear tires will rub. Already ruined my fender flares. Plus I want to put two inch spacers on. So I'll definitely need the space.
I have a GMC Sierra 1500 2013 extended cab. I've installed the seven and a half inch lift. Installed 35s. Slight problems with tire clearance. Want to install a two and a quarter inch body lift to provide more clearance. Other than the spacers or anything else be required? Steering wheel extension?
Found the problem. When I drop the spare tire there is an electrical junction. Right by the trailer light harness. It was rusted all out and everything was corroded. Clean it up and now they work. Thanks for the help!
