  1. I have used Eagle One - Nevr-Dull wadding polish in the past and it does great on chrome/plastic chrome. Just be gentle on the plastic as it is a bit abrasive.
  2. I'm in a similar situation with 2k miles in 5 months. Most of my driving is short trips less than 10 miles with a couple of 500 mile road trips included. I'm also at 64% and think the system takes into consideration the type of driving I do. Anyhow, I'm already planning to do oil changes every 6 months at 2k-2.5k miles. Everything I read recommends shorter oil changes and top tied fuel in the hopes of improved reliability.
  3. I added the front and rear splash guards and found that they help keep the rockers protected.
  4. My auto A/C button never shuts off. Have to lower the fan manually.
  5. Agreed on OEM accessories. Not mods but I bought the premium all weather floormats, heavy duty cargo net, rear bench seat cover and front/rear splash guards. Love all of them especially the splash guards. They really help protect behind the wheels.
  6. I will have to test mine the next time I drive. I'm old school and still turn the AC off before shutting the engine off so as not to increase the load when starting. I'll let you know after I test mine.
  7. I have the Downpour Metallic also and love the color. Agree on the dark interior. Post some pics!
  8. Congrats. What color did you end up getting on the GMC?
  9. I'm glad I read through this because I was going to ask about MPG degradation. I anticipated much greater rolling resistance with that size but 4-5 MPG is enormous. Thanks for posting.
  10. Agreed. I had a top-notch leather restoration company in town that did great work on things like this. Should be no problem for a true professional to fix.
  11. Agreed, but I don’t do touch carwashes. An occasional touchless but mostly hand washes.
  12. Best of luck. Do you know if they found any carbon build up while they were in there? Just curious as that is a long-term concern of mine.
  13. For those interested in/required to have a front plate on your new truck. I wanted to add a front license plate bracket to my new 2024 Sierra 1500 Denali but didn't want to drill holes in the bumper. I couldn't find an OEM bracket so I found one at Cravenspeed. Pretty expensive but the mount is solid with no holes in the bumper. I added some rubber bushings, not shown in my pic below, around the fasteners so I could tighten the bracket without scratching the bumper. Very pleased with this bracket. 14. New member, fist post. 1 month now on my 2024 Denali Reserve. Came from a Tacoma and what a huge difference. I do miss my manual transmission from time to time but this truck is beautiful all around.
