  1. Injector Tick

My 11 Silverado with a 5.3 also runs smoother on e85, it’s always had a small tick on 87 regular, the engine made for higher octane , I wouldn’t worry about it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. repair or remanufactured engine

Never get a jasper they are junk!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Actually, you are wrong your battery is not “fine “ at 12v it’s discharged to about 50% of it’s power that’s why your chime comes on , it’s trying to tell you to start you vehicle before it gets so low it will not crank over, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Low oil pressure

Oil pressure is determined by pump and bearing clearance you engine is most likey shot cam bearings and main bearings shot Could easily lead to little to no oil pressuee Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Firestone MT 2 tires

thanks for your input Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Firestone MT 2 tires

I wouldn't know what else to put on there as a good all around performer these got good reviews that I seen and they specifically say mud and snow on the description, I do know the AT Bridgetown dueller I currently have on them now suck ass!! I get stuck in our field any time it rains is kinda embarrassing having all 4 tires spinning at idle and not going anywhere Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Radio problems

If it was myself I'd take it to a stereo shop and just replace it with a cheap unit , they should have all the correct wiring harnesses to make the factory security system that runs through you old radio work, you could easily get away with spending 150 bucks and the problem is solved, or replace the OEM one and spend 6-8 hundred Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Been serious debating on a new set of tires for the truck before winter, was curious if anyone on here actually had these tires the firestone mt2 just came out in July, was going to try a 285/65/18 with my 2011 z71 with a 2" front level, but wanted a review from someone who has actually had them.. for 1200 bucks it a bit pricey of an endeavor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Assuming your mileage number is correct 320 miles divided by 26 gal you were only getting 12.3 mpg to begin with that itself is poor, now your new numbers are and even 10 mpg for a truck thats not hatefull if your pulling a boat ECT. I would fill it all the way up reset the trip and throw a gas can in the bed and run it until its out.. then you may get a more accurate mpg.. you may be trying to fix something that's not broke Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. 2010 Silverado 5.3 AFM disabled from 125k

I bought my 2011 Lt 1500 6 months ago with 24,000 miles on it at a Chevy dealer for 18,000 if that is any help for comparison.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 02 silverado 4.3 has me stumped.

Spider fuel assembly under the manifold Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Diagnose Engine Noise

My 11 Silverado 5.3 has a light tick until I run E85 I believe some of my tick was fuel knock I could be wrong but my truck runs a lot better and sounds quiter on E85 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. anyone tow with the 3.08 gears?

My 2011 5.3 Silverado AFM tuned out and 93 octane gets 11.5 towing 3500 lbs of ATVs with 3.08 gearing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. thanks for your response to my question , I did get a system installed yesterday after hearing your response.. I cant believe what 2 JL 10" and a arc audio 1100.5 amp and some new focal for speakers will do in our pick up trucks this is the first audio system I've had since highschool (20 years ago) and I'm all smiles..
