  1. Thanx guys! I'll look into the fuse thing... Anybody happen to know more about that...?
  2. OK....it looks like I should have Googled this first because now that I did...I found replacements... So now my question is if my truck had a dummy plug in it, will I have to do anything other than install the replacement plug...? Will it be ready to go or will I have to wire anything up front or install a fuse etc to complete this...?

  4. Just bought a 2013 Silverado that appeared to have towing package...it has the 6 speed trans with manual shift option and the trailer towing button on the end of the shifter... There was no hitch on it...I figured a previous owner swiped it or something...so I bought a hitch receiver and installed it... Then when I tried to open the cover to the plug in the rear bumper I found that it would not open even tho I could feel that there were wires going to it from behind... That's when I discovered that twisting the plug "cover" left, the entire assembly came out...see pictures... Apparently I need to buy a "plug" to insert in order to make it usable...??? Thank you for any help given!

  6. Well.....lots of different ideas and directions to go here! I'm going to look into these and see what I find for options that best suit my needs... Thanx so much!!!
  7. when I looked at the pictures of them installed they all looked loose and floppy....and some of the reviews mentioned that as well, saying the are hard to keep tight fitting...good fitment is one of my concerns... Thanx!
  8. I'm kinda considering these Cordura covers...I used to skydive and Cordura is what the parachute containers are made of and I know that it is tough as nails! Anybody ever buy these that can tell me anything about them...? https://decorauto.com/product/cordura/
  9. Just bought a 2013 Silverado for a shop truck....it has cloth seats and they will be used hard I see a lot of heavy duty canvas seat covers...usually with a camo print on them and I even tho I DO NOT want the camo print I think that they are what I need to protect those cloth seats... There are plenty of places out there to buy them but I want something of quality.....not cheap junk.... Any recommendations on what and where to buy....????? Thanx!
  10. Thanx.....After seeing your reply I looked into them and discovered that they are not as expensive as I thought so I went ahead and bought a new one! Thanx again....
  11. I just bought a 2013 Silverado and even tho it has the towing package, the receiver is missing... I also have a 2000 Chevy 2500 that does have a receiver... Will that receiver fit my new truck...? Thanx!
