Lol sounds like the screen size ‘truth in advertising’ may have been a hot topic at some point.

I had a 2020 loaner recently and measured the diagonal of the center stack display. 7.4” I haven’t measured the screen in my ‘15 LTZ but it does appear slightly bigger - maybe because of the lines. I do find it hard to believe GM would actually spec a screen that measured shorter.

Just curious if anyone knows whether an aftermarket mod for standard ‘1500’ style side view mirrors may become available at some point for the 2500? We’ve always had a 2500 because we prefer the size and general burliness of the HD platform but rarely tow with it and I actually hate the newer low slung HD side view mirrors. I’ve looked at the door panels of the 1500 and 2500 and see pretty clearly the contour lines make the 1500 mirrors non transferable - to say nothing of any issues with wiring harness since the mirrors have diff electronic features.

Wanted to do the same on my ‘15 LTZ and what actually ended up being more effective was to have the chrome trim vinyl wrapped with a flat satin/matte black color identical to the black window trim. It’s 4 years old now and so effective I forgot the trim is even chrome. No fading, no peeling, etc. and it was only $200 or so vs the nearly $800-$1k to have the black trim installed.
