Ok. I tried to figure out whether not the range afm disabler was compatible with the eassist (mild hybrid) trucks. I have a 2018 4x4 LT with the 8spd transmission. I reached out to range and they told me it doesn't work (conflicting with some info on their site). Well, I was seeing conflicting reports online and decided I would try it anyway. Good news everyone. It works! It keeps the truck in V8 mode and disable the auto stop/start at red lights too. The truck is soooooo much better now. Previously there truck was always hesitant and constant little bumps/jerks from switching cylinders or auto stop. Now it drives like a normal truck. Just installed yesterday...not sure about mpg impact and frankly I don't care...it doesn't seem huge and the truck drives so much better. For anyone else on the fence for your eassist truck...go for it.
