  1. pgamboa, thank you for the quick response! Couple questions if I may....about where the ram seats gain power, do you mean that it could be from a floor harness as well but also could possibly be from some other source/location? If so, maybe i could find that out from electricians at work. Also (bare with me here, i could wire a house no problem, but auto electric confuses the hell out of me lol) as for the other variables (airbags, belt buckle position sensor etc...) each of those are going to be controlled/powered by one of the other pins in the supply harness other than the power/ground? If thats the case could i not (though not recommended im sure) for example omit the supply pin to the seat airbag and therefore not have to be concerned with the danger of it going off from improper connection? Is there a simple answer to what the purpose of the "seat position sensor" and "seat belt pre tensioner" are or what they do or dont do if not powered? Thank you for your time!!
  2. xSHIFTxNASTYx, yes the experience that pgamboa sounds like he has is exactly what I am needing, and even better if i could just have the harness I am looking for made! As I stated earlier I dont post very much so im not sure how to go about contacting him? Or will he be notified after being tagged in this topic? Thank you!!
  3. I do ALOT of reading but not much posting on here because I normally find my answer and dont need to ? But this time i cant find anything. I have a 2018 Silverado LT1500 Z71. I am looking for (if possible a picture) the identification of each of the pins in the body side (not the seat side) of the wire harness for the driver and passenger seats. I currently have 6 way heated with lumbar drivers seat and power passenger seat. To explain why, I will say this....I love everything about this truck EXCEPT for one thing, the seats are the most uncomfortable I ha e ever sat in, no matter how I adjust them I just cant get comfortable, so I am looking into swapping them out. Now some of you might hate me for this LOL but I work for Chrysler on the assembly line at the Ram plant ( Yes I work for chrysler and drive a CHEVY, but hey i dont have to like where I work as long as it pays the bills lol ) and the seats in the Rams are waaaay more comfortable so I am wanting to swap the seats out but I know this has the potential to be a wiring nightmare. So i am starting my research with identifying all the pins on the body side of my chevy and then going to do the same for the Ram seats when/if I buy them, and then attempt to wire a new harness connector to my bodyside to match up with the one on the new seats. I hope I explained what i am looking for and didnt ramble on to much, and THANK YOU ahead of time if anyone can supply me this information!
