  1. Yeah. It was a RWD. I asked if he wanted to take a running start at the hill but he said no because he slid down it once already and he was worried he would slide off the road into a curb. It’s kind of a long sweeping hill so I couldn’t blame him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. No payment. Just a thank you. And that’s fine. He was just happy to be able to get on his way. But no, the Ford did nothing. [emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I didn’t take those pics. My neighbor did while I was pulling the guy up the hill. All the neighbors were out playing in the snow with their kids. We never get snow so everyone comes out when it happens. If you look in one of the pics, you can see me in the driver seat because my window is down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yep. One day thing. It was mid 40s today. All the snow is gone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. We had some snow in Georgia today and the Amazon driver got stuck in the neighborhood. I pulled him out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Got my truck fully detailed last week. It was nice for 3-4 days here in Georgia. Now it’s supposed to rain for another week or so. Also switched from 35” Kumho MTs to 33” Toyo ATs. Nicer ride, and picked up 1.5 mpg. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Curious as to what a “full alignment” is. The rear is solid axle so no adjustments there. We’re they just going to do front toe but ended up needing caster and camber adjustments? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I also have a Yi camera in my truck and our Lexus. The video quality is great and it is Bluetooth so you can download the footage to your phone. Plus it automatically saves footage that has a 2-4 or 6 G incident. Here’s a pic that I got off of it showing the retard who blew rocks all down the side of my truck with his mower. I showed the video to the sherif when he came to write a report about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Wow. That is cool. Keep us posted on the progress. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I had to deal with this on our Lexus that got totaled about three years ago. Look up similarly equipped trucks. If they aren’t in your immediate area, then expand your search. We had a very low mileage, three year old car with some upper end options. They kept telling me comps were $5k less than I wanted. I went on auto trader and found three of the most expensive ones that I could find. They would tell me stuff like “that’s not in your area” or “it’s too far away to be comparable.” I told them to find me a similarly optioned car in my area and we could look at those. It’s not your fault that you bought a highly optioned truck. But they do need to compensate you for the truck that you have. Keep telling them no until you are satisfied. After fighting with them for about two weeks and sending in about 9 comps, some from as far away as California, they ended up offering me almost $4k more than their original estimate. I was happy with that. You also have to figure that if they are paying for a rental, it’s in their best interest to settle quickly so they don’t keep paying for a rental. On the Lexus, State Farm called me up and told me to return the rental car because mine was totaled. I told them that we haven’t agreed on a price, which ment that I couldn’t go buy a new car, so they need to keep me in a rental until we settle on the value of my car. I ended up having to talk to a few people higher than the original adjuster but it worked. It was a big PITA and is why I will never insure with State Farm again. I hope dealing with your insurance company goes smoother. Good luck and let us know what happens.
