New to forum, sorry if this is listed somewhere else. I just bought a 2019 Silverado 1500 Trail Boss LT Crew Cab. Started having issues with my parking sensors turning off and giving me an error message each time I turned the truck on. Took it to the dealer and they figured out it was the right front sensor but it wasn't covered under warranty because it has a dent in it. Looks like a rock must of hit it dead on while I was driving on the Highway... they wanted $500 to fix it... needless to say I said no thanks I can fix it. I ordered the replacement sensor and had a buddy paint it to match the bumper but that's where I am running into an issue... the middle two sensors on my trail boss are easy to get to, you can just look under the truck and see them in the back of the bumper... but the front two side ones are more complicated. I need to change out the front right now and can't get to .. there are support brackets and what looks other bumper brackets at the sides... I have spent a couple of hours on it and can't figure out which brackets I need to remove to get to it... starting to think the whole bumper needs to come off. Has anyone had to switch out one of the front parking sensors that are located on the sides? Let me know if pictures help of the supports that I mentioned above.
