  1. Sorry was trying to look at old photos from my wife’s (now sold) 2008 Suburban with the L76 (aluminum block) version of the 6.0. I couldn’t see exactly where your burnt wires were going to. I would take a lot of photos and maybe look on eBay or car-part dot com for a used engine harness. Usually pretty cheap and really just time consuming, not difficult to replace. I have a 2007.5 LMM SILVERADO and replaced the firewall forward harnesses, due to original owner cutting/melting many wires for a bunch of useless accessories.
  2. Not exact. I had issues with the Car2U and replaced the garage/Lear opener in the overhead console with the Homelink module from a 2014 Impala. Works with all garage openers. I’ll pull it down this weekend to show difference in design/plug.
  3. 1. Key in the ACC position 2. transmission selector to N 3. Turn 4WD selector knob all the way to N and hold it there for 30-ish seconds. you should hear your transfer case engaging/disengaging (learning/calibrating.) Once noises stop, put switch into 2WD or Auto. Put truck back into P, then turn key to off. Turn truck on and see if lights light up and that your switch actually blinks while shifting into 4hi/lo. I had tried everyone’s “fix” but never had the selector switch AND transmission in Neutral (make sure to have foot on brake/emergency brake on.)
