  1. Anyone able to fix this brake noise issue?? My 2020 LT Trailboss has suffered from this squealing noise issue since 9,000 miles. It sounds terrible and is quite embarrassing for such a nice new truck, especially with the windows down. The dealership told me they were "unable to recreate the issue / could not hear anything" which was a boldface lie and the brakes appear to be in perfect condition upon my inspection. Any updates or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Of course they were supposed to fit on precisely by using the provided clips and fasteners, but there were a few holes that did not lineup right, I ended up just drilling a few tiny holes (maybe 4 total) in the wheel lining to make sure the flares were very snug to the truck. If you leave one un-fastened the flare does not look right. I had to remove the small plastic factory mud flaps that were installed. It was definitely more challenging than the installation instructions, but not too bad. Probably took 3 hours total. actually found them on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Stampede-8637-2-2019-2020-Chevrolet-Compatible/dp/B084N9SZKK Stampede 8637-2 Original Riderz Fender Flare for 2019-2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Set of 4 Smooth Black. Compatible with 5.8 and 6 feet Bed Lengths.
  3. Installed some on my 2020 LT Trailboss. Ended up not even painting them as I planned, the black goes well with the bumper and wheels. Took me a while to find the most simple flares.
  4. Thanks for posting this, the last battery replacement just happened last week, first week of September. I'm in DC and the temperature has not fallen below 60 degrees since May. It can't be this if it only happens when the temperatures are below 40. I wonder if it can also happen at warm temperatures?
  5. I have a 2020 Crew Cab LT Trailboss, everyday driven in normal road conditions. I've had this same problem on separate occasions due to a "bad battery." After remote starting the vehicle, I get in the truck (push brake and ignition button) to turn it "fully on. Engine continues running and all electronics turn on EXCEPT for the infotainment system, which remains a black screen. I have to fully restart the truck to get it to come on. I brought my truck back to the dealership a month after buying it , they fixed this issue by replacing the malfunctioning battery (battery #2).... 6 months later, it started happening again and the dealership, again, fixed it by replacing the bad battery (battery #3). Clearly a fresh, fully charged battery fixes the remote start infotainment issue, however, the underlying issue is still present- why am I on my 3rd brand new AGM battery in a 9 month old vehicle? I have not messed with anything on this truck, no aftermarket crap lights or extra electronics anywhere, so what is draining the battery? Do I have a bad alternator? Any help would be appreciated!
  6. I’m having the same issue with my new 2020 LT TrailBoss Crew, Short. Auto-Stop was working perfectly since I brought it home 6 weeks ago...until this week (1,600 miles). Now the Auto-Stop will absolutely not work. I’ve made sure that: -climate control off -Exterior temp >50 degrees -Normal Drive Mode -Battery working completely fine I have not altered the Vehicle in any way. Took it back to dealer today, they force updated infotainment system to newest software, as of Feb. 2020 (MIH20A-00523) and installed brand new battery. This did NOT fix it. I was told that a scan found “an open circuit” and showed codes “B092A & B092.” Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone know what these codes mean? Really disappointed to be dealing with electrical issues with a brand new, almost $60k, truck. Thank you all! I love this forum!
