Just had the same issue happen two days ago. Drove my 8 month old to daycare, smelled plastic burning, opened the backseat driver side door and there's smoke and a tiny flame coming from just under the back window. Rush to pull my kid out in his car seat, set him on the ground and look back up to see the fire went out, but almost immediately after, the back driver side window shatters. I drove the vehicle right to my dealer and explained the issue. Have an extended warranty on the truck, so they had someone come out and take a look this morning. Will have an assessment done on Monday and I'll know more, I guess. Also just got done reporting the compliant to NHTSA. Would encourage you all to do the same. My VIN is not showing any recall associated, but I see there is one in Canada, which is where my vehicle was made.
