  1. I am talking about the led light on the upper brake light. That would throw it beyond.
  2. As far as the night time backup picture goes, I just turn on the bed light, and the picture improves noticeably. I live in the country and my driveway is dark, so this works for me. Your results may be different.
  3. l believe it is the electric assist to the master cylinder and braking system running a self check.
  4. Thank you for that explanation, I had no idea about that. It was just, you know, the whole brake pedal to the floor thing, lol. Ok, as the original poster I am now more confused than ever.

  6. Went to start the truck today, and like the title says brake pedal went straight to the floor as I went to press the start button. Let brake pedal back up, press start button, yellow light around button came on, then put foot on brake pedal again, this time brake pedal was again firm and truck started normally. No MIL light. Have had both brake updates done. No further trouble today. Anyone else experienced this?

  8. My own experience is when you shift from reverse to drive let it sit in neutral for one to two seconds, I don't know why but it seems to help the transmission's overall performance.
  9. That's interesting, mine has a build date of November 2018, and I only noticed harsh shifts when it's 25 or below and then it smooths out after trans reaches operating temp. It's 50 in North Central Ohio today and shifts have been smooth. Outside of 2 brake recalls, I have had no issues with any fit or finish and get like 19 mph combined, so I guess I got lucky. I will ask for my trans fluid replacement at my first oil change, however.
  10. My experience is that employee or in my case I did much better with negotiating as the other way locks you into a price.
  11. Just download the Sirius app to your smartphone, and plug in Android auto, Sirius will appear on the radio screen with the album cover. Your have to change channels with your phone, however. Or just Bluetooth through without Android, and you get screen without cover art.
  12. Hi all, first post, I have a 2019 new model Silverado LT Z71 with All Star package I purchased Nov 22nd 2019. Has the 3.5L V8. Door label says it had a build date of 10/18, does this mean the truck was sitting around for a year before I bought it? I do not seem to have any of the issues that other people on this forum have noted, except for a trans that occasionally shifts hard, and once it warms up goes away. My free oil change and inspection will be in June. I have already had both brake software updates completed, no issues there. Are there any engine MGMT or trans updates? Seems like I read something about updated trans fluid somewhere. Thanks for any comments.
