    Hey. Tranny blew. In order to cover it under warranty, they wanted me to swap the cold air intake back to stock and return the computer back to stock. Could either contribute toward tranny failure?

    Hey all. Had my tranny replaced at 164xxx kms with a one year warranty on a rebuild. I think initially they said the transfer case exploded inside or something. Does this make sense? Also, I think the same issue is happening again? Are these these thing problematic? Is there a better tranny to go with? And doe the tranny need to be replaced if the transfer case is bad? I appreciate any feedback. I’m new to this

    It’s more about fuel efficiency. My amplifiers run better when above 14V. It’s designed to drop down to about 12V when the battery is sufficiently charged. My amps draw a lot of power quickly. I need it constantly charging.

    Hey all, has anyone bypassed the bcm sensor to achieve steady alternator current? I’ve done the big three and have a yellow top optima as of yet.

    Hey all, so I’ve been looking into doing the big three upgrade for my electrical. I understand the typical way of doing it. But with our trucks having the bcm sensor, what’s the best way to do this? I saw a video where a guy was given instructions by Mechman alternators to do a “big 2” instead with 0 gauge wire. The ground would run through the sensor from the battery to the alt and the power from the alt to the positive battery terminal. Anybody do this before? What is everyone doing about the bcm sensor?

    So the dealer came back saying they’d do 50/50 for the new tranny. I told them to go ahead. Total for me is $2509.00 plus taxes. They did give a vehicle to use though while it’s getting repaired. I just want my baby back

    Just in limbo like a chump waiting to hear back from gm. Supposed to be $5k installed for a rebuilt tranny. Does that seem expensive?

    Hey all. So my Tranny had gone on my 2017 5.3 wt (6 speed). Dealer says it was the internal pump that failed. I’m 4500 Kms passed my warranty. is this typical? Any advice? And alternative trannys that would cost about the same or less that would give me better acceleration?

    Oh wow. That’s significant. I don’t think they have ethanol stations around me. I’m guessing this wouldnt do anything for normal 93octane?

    So after driving with the new throttle body/ manifold I think I can feel a bit of a difference? Lols. It does seem to make a slightly different sound with the cai. I have the bdx hand held tuner with it. I haven’t been able to actually get a proper tune yet. It kind of seems a tad slower out of the hole...is this normal? Or does it need more gas (keeping in mind that the bdx may help with delivering more gas)

    So I finally installed the l86 manifold and tb. The people online weren’t lying about the Christmas tree clips for the wiring harness at the rear of the manifold cover being a bish to remove. I wouldn’t find my trim tool either. Anyways, a few knicks later and it’s finally done. I went out last night to give it a boot but there were cops everywhere so I couldn’t really give it to observe any differences. I’ll give it a go again today. Hopefully it’s noticeable.

    It’s not a night and day difference but the price is right though.

    I like them. Aside from having to clean my wheels every other day. But they stop well. They’ve let me know that they’re better than stock
