  1. As the title says I need help pricing my 2013 Silverado with 196K miles to sell. It was my work truck and has paint flaking plus some body damage from other vehicles. All dents were at low speed, mostly other trucks backing up. The good thing about being my work truck is knowing it is well maintained. All of the maintenance and repairs were done by the dealership. The truck is now mine, title in hand, and I’m having a hard time factoring in the dents and paint chips along with the well maintained history (I will have it detailed before selling as well). Any help the group can give us much appreciated.

  3. 2013 Silverado crew cab LT. 195K miles. The driver side lock/unlock is not function but all other locking devices are (passenger side and key fob). The door is replaced and I’m not convinced just yet the wiring is 100%. I’m having a hard time identifying where the wires terminate into the fuse block. There are 5 terminals on the switch with wires going to each except the middle terminal. I’ve take everything apart down to the circuit board. It was very dirty and doesn’t feel right when I try it. Cleaned it up and still doesn’t work. I have verified the fuse is good. The issue could very well be both components. How would I diagnose which part, or both, needs to be replaced? Thanks
  4. I put a 2012 Texas edition driver side front door on a standard 2013 Silverado. Should these two parts be compatible? It is pinching at the front of the door and keeping it from closing. The front of the door is making contact with the inside of the front fender panel. Is there some adjustment that can be done to give the door spacing to clear the front fender?
  5. I’m needing help deciding which truck to keep and which one to sell.....an amazing problem to have. My dilemma is I have had the GMC for 4 years and know that it is reliable. It is getting up in mileage and age (177K and 19 years old). The Silverado was a work truck at my company bought brand new. It is much newer but also high miles (195K and 7 years old). I know it has been maintained well but has a lot of idling hours not shown on the odometer. The front door took a bump while stopped from another work truck, no real damage other than cosmetic. All the records produced don’t show any transmission or crankcase work. 2001 GMC Sierra 2500HD Extended Cab 2WD 177,651 miles 6.0L V8 towing package aftermarket radio w/ Bluetooth and iPod connect have owned since 110K miles recently replaced: fuel pump rear main seal shocks tune up entire A/C system except coolant lines needs: Nothing more than fluid maintenance No stored codes 2013 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 Z71 195,482 miles 6.2L V8 just took possession. was my company’s truck in the oil fields with mostly highway miles and more idling hours than standard personal use truck. recently replaced: a/c dryer oil pressure switch - 2017 needs: front driver door front door wiring harness (air bag and door not closed indicating) paint (chipping in 5 areas bigger than a dollar bill and 10-15 quarter size. Only one area shows surface rust)
