  1. Got a new tire pressure gauge delivered today
  2. But im not going to hunt down a donor motor just to strip the harness. My time is worth something too. Plus the yards here sell engine with the harness. So why would i even put time in to, when i can just replace what is broken.
  3. I still had the harness from when the relays melted so i grabbed the fuse setip from that
  4. Found why my fans arent working
  5. If i knew that 3 weeks ago it would have saved a few bucks on this birthday install. Was it the Rr? Also im having an odd overheat issue. Havent got it above 236 yet. Gets hot with grille assembly on, take the entire assembly off and everything runs like normal
  6. The 2005 has no EGR
  7. The dash trim and iDatalink Maestro cost more than the radio. The dash trim was $185. The Pioneer AVH-X3700BHS was $230 on Amazon. Then the Idatalink bits such as the Maestro Rr and the F01 T-harness brought the crutchfield bill to almost $300. Then my install labor. That was 5 hours of me getting gray hair. Came out a little ahead, took longer than i thought and at 104 degrees outside, my garage reminded me of a Florida summer. I will not be installing radios for anyone else for a long time
  8. I had to run around to get things to put the stereo in the F150. My Sierra started overheating at a light. Here is the finished radio
  9. As long as you keep stock size, prices will be decent. Of course they will go up with tire quality.
  10. You will get the best tire prices with 17" wheels or a 275/55R20 since that is what a lot of truck manufacturers use for stock. Also a 245/70R17, 255/70R17, and 265/70R17 since those are the common sizes on trucks
  11. No. A 16 will not fit. Starting in 2005, the front brakes changed and a 16 will not clear. 17 isnt a bad size.
  12. Replaced the F150 radiator today
  13. Its nice not having torsion bars
  14. Could have at least changed the filter while under there
  15. Just ordered a Metra for the 2011 F150. It matches the wood grain. It was $180. not too excited about it, but it isnt my money
  16. 100k in normal conditions. I have 60k in dusty environments and am about due to change it
  17. Really? I have the Buy Power personal card, but dont use it much. Was going to swap it to all my gas purchases
  18. Took my truck for a test drive with no muffler Around my property https://vimeo.com/176943110 Through the orange groves https://vimeo.com/176943167

  21. The last trans i had to drop was different. I had a mishap and am glad i left the crossmember on
