If you don't mind me asking what banks set up are you using, last i checked they had very limited products for the 2020 model and still do not see the air intake available yet!!!

Yes agreed it is a cleaner installation and sorry to hear about the poor quality of the other camera that you were using. There are models available on the market that are more consistent for less money than GM is charging for this camera and with the market for these trucks pulling 5th wheels and Goose Neck trailers this should have been a consideration and not unsupported.

Well it sure funny that GM never puts that statement in any of the advertisements I could have purchased a much cheaper camera to mount on the back of the trailer if I was aware of that.

Man this topic truly bring out 1000 opinions and many of them are correct. To each is own but my preference is Amsoil full diesel synthetic and I also run the remote by-pass filter system, You will find that the Duramax creates a very black sooty oil and having the bypass system really makes a cleaner difference.

There is often times what I would call an erratic ticking noise that is often heard at idle. I have seen this refereed to a "excited oil that can be from the oil coming through the lifters Look for Duramax excited oil with google and you will see many articles on it. this is my 4th duramax and the last three have produced this sound it is nothing to be alarmed about

I have been looking at the instructional steps for calibrating a camera of the rear of a trailer and based on the procedure for measurements it appears to me they are referencing a bumper pull trailer. Is there a different strategy for a goose neck cargo trailer, for instance the steps reference distance from hitch to trailer. Would this be measured differently on a goose neck. it also references length of trailer, this is a 32 foot goose neck but you consider the cargo space behind the truck it would only be 24 foot. Any advise please see the instructions below Step 2: Enter the trailer’s dimensions into your Trailer Profile Next, set up or select your Trailer Profile in the in-vehicle Trailering System (Trailering App)2 using the TRAILERING icon on the Home screen of the infotainment system. What they should have done was to create and accessory option that would provide a T connector for the camera cables and sell it with an addition plug for the bed that you can remove the 7 and four connection and put two of the 7 and camera port plugs in the bed to keep the option also in the bumper. That would also keep the marketing and the revenue with GM instead of going to a 3rd party. This was great work Larry I have also ordered a set of the cables from the same site.
