Yea I’ve started to see that but all the ducting under the hood for me shouldn’t be necessary im Just going for the look of the scoop. Hopefully just the hood and the springs.

I am new to this forum and I have seen a few people convert their 1500 hood to an HD hood with the scoop. One post even listed out every part needed to do the conversion but my question is does anyone know if you can just swap the hood only without buying all the extra parts like springs ect. I really want to try this but I want to try doing it the least expensive way possible. Based on the look of the hoods I would think it would be a simple bolt on swap. Does anyone know the answer to this??

Why did you have to change the hood springs? Would the HD hood just bolt right on to the existing 1500 body? I want to do this soooo bad but I don't want to get all the extras if it isn't completely necessary
