I have a 2008 Suburban. The release button is electronic, I believe, but it does NOTHING. From what I've read, the only way to remove the panel from the liftgate is to open the glass and remove the screws. If I can't open the glass, how can I remove the screws that hold the panel that covers the locking mechanism? The rear wiper doesn't operate either. I don't know how to get to the wiring without being able to remove the liftgate panel. -Mark-
