Hello Everyone,
I am doing a frame off restoration on a 1990 K1500 reg cab, stepside. I have installed a rough country 2-3" torsion key lift on the truck and I'm having issues with the suspension geometry that I can't seem to figure out. I installed the rough country key's with the frame in the air and the LCA hanging freely. After putting the frame back on the ground with the suspension fully installed, the lower control arms are at such a steep angle, I cannot get the axle shafts back in the truck. There is no weight on the frame so I figured the truck would settle a little after putting the rest of the truck back on the frame but it still seems way to off. I verified the torsion bars were installed on the proper sides so I don't think that is an issue.
I think my question is at what angle should the front suspension be when the torsion bars are installed?
Thanks,
