  1. Yea a fluid change is in order here. Honestly, your transmission didn’t even get hot. During the summer in stop and go traffic I’ve seen my 8l80 get up to 216 and it was still shifting smoothly.
  2. For reliability, that would be my second choice but it’s better than the 6.2 and 5.3. The plus is that the fuel economy is excellent.
  3. My 2025 Custom has the storage but my 2020 WT does not.
  4. Thanks for coming back with an update.
  5. It won’t hurt anything. Just make sure to use the proper weight oil.
  6. Thrust bearing issues. It’s actually well documented and there have been some failures with very minimal miles. I still think it’s a safer option than the 6.2 though. The Turbomax actually has the least amount of issues.
  7. Very interesting thread. Definitely didn’t expect to see this kind of mileage out of that engine.
  8. Definitely needs to go back to the dealer.
  9. I’m definitely going to follow this thread. Very entertaining.
  10. Just buy and extended warranty and don’t worry about anything else.
  11. I do too. I’ll never be stuck again
  12. Batteries don’t always show signs of a few years ago my vehicle started fine in the morning and took me to work. After work the battery was completely dead and I needed a jump. No, I didn’t leave anything on and the battery was only a couple months old. It was replaced under warranty.
  13. How long does it have to be in the shop before you can lemon law it? It’s absolutely unacceptable that it’s been in the shop for 2 months and they haven’t even provided a loaner car. The warranty is not working if they can’t fix the vehicle in a timely manner.
