  1. It won’t hurt anything. Just make sure to use the proper weight oil.
  2. Thrust bearing issues. It’s actually well documented and there have been some failures with very minimal miles. I still think it’s a safer option than the 6.2 though. The Turbomax actually has the least amount of issues.
  3. Very interesting thread. Definitely didn’t expect to see this kind of mileage out of that engine.
  4. Definitely needs to go back to the dealer.
  5. I’m definitely going to follow this thread. Very entertaining.
  6. Just buy and extended warranty and don’t worry about anything else.
  7. I do too. I’ll never be stuck again
  8. Batteries don’t always show signs of a few years ago my vehicle started fine in the morning and took me to work. After work the battery was completely dead and I needed a jump. No, I didn’t leave anything on and the battery was only a couple months old. It was replaced under warranty.
  9. How long does it have to be in the shop before you can lemon law it? It’s absolutely unacceptable that it’s been in the shop for 2 months and they haven’t even provided a loaner car. The warranty is not working if they can’t fix the vehicle in a timely manner.

  11. I’m definitely interested to hear the end result here.
  12. One can only hope that they will correct or have already corrected the issue.
  13. Man, I would report that to the IIHS. Sounds like a major safety concern and buying aftermarket rims shouldn't be the solution.
  14. You already know what I think about spacers but I will say those wheels do look great on your truck. Either way, I hope you find an outcome you’re happy with.
  15. $3.69 at the local Exxon station.
  16. Yea, no kidding. I always liked the S10 and S10 Blazer but damn the were death traps.
  17. Maybe put some weight in the bed to help it settle
  18. They put more strain on your suspension components basically and if not installed correctly have potential of completely failing (breaking off the studs). This is just what I’ve read for years on forums and what I found from a simply google search.
  19. I have a 1500 but the Custom trim. I bought it solely for the simplicity meaning less electronics. I also love the old school gauges. The only thing that I like about the LT better than my Custom is the front grill. Otherwise, absolutely no regrets choosing this trim.
  20. Spacers aren’t safe anyway, so you’re better off just buying something else.
  21. Shouldn't the fault be saved and able to be pulled with a reader? Otherwise, maybe start taking pictures of it which will have a date and time stamp, so you can build your case.
  22. Hi Gary, I guess it all boils down to personal preference and what you can afford. I, personally, buy new because I will know from day one how the vehicle is maintained and driven.
