  1. Thanks for the input everyone. I ended up replacing the mirror. Camera worked fine and everthing aligned as expected. I assume the control module recoginzed the new camera and perfomed the necessary calibration.
  2. OK. My wife underestimated how far the mirror extends out of the truck, even when closed, so I need a new mirror now. Truck is 2023 Sierra 1500 SLT with 360 degree cameras. I have blind sport sensor and camera in the mirror. Dealer wants $660 for the mirror and $500 for the installation. I can buy the original mirror online, new, for about $450. I think I can replace it myself. My question, would the camera need calibration after that? Has anyone gone though that process? It seems to be straight forward to do it myself and I think paying almost $1200 to replace the mirror is too much!! I just do not want to be stuck with having to go back to the dealer to get the camera calibrated. TIA
  3. Just had the recall done today. Receipt shows N242435631-05. No radio update and still on Android 10. This is a 2023 Sierra 1500 SLT.
  4. Did some shopping back in May with few of the popular dealers for selling contracts online. I got best offer from Todd Sutherland at MacMulkin Chevrolet. Bought 8yrs/80k plan.
  5. I have a whining noise in my 2023 Sierra SLT 5.3L. The truck has only 2000 miles on it. The whining noise is very annoying at low speed below 30mph or so. The truck is only 3 months old, I took to the selling dealer 2 weeks after buying it but they said noise is normal. I think my noise is from 10 speed transmission, but I am not 100% sure. I see a lot of discussion regarding whining noise from the transmission here an also on Ford forums, considering it is developed by Ford. I plan on having the dealer look at again with my first oil change. That will be a different dealer and it's the one I am planning on using for service.
  6. I bought a 8yr/80k miles warranty 2 months ago for my 2023 SLT. I bought it from Todd Sutherland. His quote was the lowest out of 4 dealers that are popular on the forums. His email is [email protected]
  7. Have the same issue with both FM Radio and CarPlay on my 2023 SLT.
  8. Sorry. I do not have access to the TSB. I saw a copy of it on the screen with the service advisor.
  9. There is a new TSB dated March 2023 that recommends replacing lower crankcase extension. I believe it applies only to 2.7L engine. The TSB number is 23-NA-015. I had a similar complaint regarding my 2023 Sierra 5.3L. The dealer mechanic thought the TSB would apply to my truck and gave me a copy of the TSB. However, their shop foreman later said that new TSB applies only to 2.7L and that whining noise I have is normal for the 10 speed transmission.
  10. I paid $7000 below sticker for a new Sierra 1500 SLT in Houston. It was actually $8500 below sticker but dealer was adding a tint and protection package for $1500 so net was $7000 below an MSRP of $63,940. This is about 11% below sticker. No trade-in.
