Yea a fluid change is in order here. Honestly, your transmission didn’t even get hot. During the summer in stop and go traffic I’ve seen my 8l80 get up to 216 and it was still shifting smoothly.
Thrust bearing issues. It’s actually well documented and there have been some failures with very minimal miles. I still think it’s a safer option than the 6.2 though. The Turbomax actually has the least amount of issues.
Batteries don’t always show signs of a few years ago my vehicle started fine in the morning and took me to work. After work the battery was completely dead and I needed a jump. No, I didn’t leave anything on and the battery was only a couple months old. It was replaced under warranty.
