  1. I just replaced my fuel pump on my 2003 Silverado 1500 and noticed today when a walked by the bed of the truck the pump was making a loud buzzing noise anyone know why it might be doing this? I did also replace the fuel filter too when I did the pump. Otherwise it runs and starts just fine
  2. Hi I have a 2003 Silverado 1500 and lately when I’ve been driving on the highway at a consistent speed sometimes I will hear a humming noise that sounds like it’s coming from under the middle or rear of the truck. The noise isn’t constant in just will happen randomly when I’m driving down the highway and last for about 6 seconds and then goes away and then will happen randomly again. I’m wondering in anyone knows what this could be Thankyou.
  3. I did pull the vacuum line off the top of the fuel pressure regulator and it did not have any fuel coming out of it. I think I’ll try to use your idea of swapping mass airflow sensors with one of my friends with the generation pickup and see if that works. Thanks for your help!
  4. I have a 2003 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 in it. For the past couple months the trucks been getting the p0172 and p0175 bank 1 and 2 running rich. I have clean the maf sensor and put a new air filter and spark plugs in and cleaned the pcv valve, throttlebody and map sensor too checked for leaks around the intake manifold and around the throttle body and found no leaks also put in new o2 sensors and the codes still come back up every time. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem or know what could be causing the codes? I’ll post a picture of the freeze frame data from the codes too.
