I'm not actually concerned about the output, more the frequency. It's probably safe to assume it's ok to use computer equipment but if it's the wrong type of inverter it can fry sensitive equipment. With a proper computer safe inverter it will always output power at 60Hz, with the wrong type of inverter the output frequency will vary (that's why you can change the speed of a blender running on a gas generator by varying the RPMs of the generator). So I guess my question is does the built in outlet output a stable frequency.
