I purchased my 1st GM - 2021 Trail Boss. I left the Ford Raptor family. The truck does not have electric folding mirrors which was important to me due to my tight parking situation. The dealer checked and was told they could install mirrors so I bought the truck. The dealer ordered all the parts, I brought it back for them to install but they can't do it. They said it is an easy swap for 2018/2019 but not 2020/2021 because when hooked up it can't "talk to the computer through the cloud". They have mirrors, wiring harnesses and some modulator but they say GM needs to write a code to make this work. There is no code written at this time. They are bringing my truck back next week with all the parts they ordered (no cost to me) and refunding my upgrade cost plus $500 for my trouble. This does not make sense to me so I am wondering if there is a way to hook up the electric folding mirrors.
