Use for Instrument Panel Storage (aka the old ashtray)

I need to remove the “not ashtray” drawer temporarily to install a “switch”. How do I remove/replace it without breaking anything? I hope the tray “pops” out and in but haven’t been able to figure it out. Thanks.
