To all of you having excessive oil consumption on Chevrolet 2500hd trucks, I got my 2020 HD 6.6 gas new on Dec. 2020. My truck has 28,000 miles on it now. 5 weeks ago the low oil massage came on. I needed 2 1/2Q of oil. Got my oil changed last week and was low again of 2 1/2Q. That's 5 F***** Quarts between oil changes ( 6500mi )! My Chevy dealer is looking in to it. Been doing a lot of research on the matter ( social media, YouTube, Web, Etc. ) Seems this has been an on going issue for some time with GM. Looks like from my research that GM have not fixed this problem even in the newer 6.6 gas. I have owned a least 15 Chevy trucks in my life and non of them have ever used oil. This is happing in other GM lines as well, not just the trucks. If my GM dealer does not come up with a fix I have no choice but dump this truck. I'm a contractor and need a heavy, reliable truck for my work. Unfortunately I will probably never buy another GM truck.

Bought a 2020 2500HD last December. It came with 18'' rims with 275/70-18 tires. I would like to put bigger tires under it. I plan on installing a leveling kit on it eventually which will be a 3'' lift in front, 2'' lift in rear. Will 295/70-18 and 305/65-18 fit without leveling kit? Thanks in advance for any feed back.
